Drainage and trenching works

Trenchless technology including directional drilling, pipe bursting, steel pipe ramming, hydro excavation and thrust boring are methods used to install utilities underground without disturbing the ground surface. KB Contractors also use conventional trenching methods for laying pipes and installing drains for industrial and domestic projects.

KB Contractors have been involved in a number of subdivision projects in Mosgiel and Dunedin. Our team can carry out earthworks, installation of drainage, roading and site preparation to get the site ready for concrete foundations. 

Residential and commercial excavating

KB Contractors maintains a staff of approx. 50 qualified personnel and are accredited with SiteWise, Site Safe and ConstructSafe. Our fleet is extensive, with two 20-tonne excavators, a grader, hydro excavators and more. We are an accredited contractor with Dunedin City Council, Invercargill City Council and Waitaki District Council.
